Executive Operating Experience
Frank has over 43 years of experience as a senior operating executive in global manufacturing companies serving both the industrial and construction sectors. His previous experience includes senior leadership positions at several Fortune 200 companies, including Pentair Corporation (President and COO of Global Power Tool unit), Textron Corporation (President of Global Industrial Products unit), Kohler, Inc. (Executive VP and Sector Executive of International Plumbing unit) and Emerson Electric Company (several senior positions including Senior VP of Skil Power Tool):
2000 – President and Chief Operating Officer of Pentair plc Tools Group.
1999 – President of the Industrial Products Segment of Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT). The $4.0 billion Industrial Products Segment was comprised of four groups: Textron Fastening Systems, Fluid and Power Systems, Golf and Turf-Care, and Industrial Components and Systems. Frank was also a member of Textron's Executive Leadership Team. Over his tenure, Industrial Products has grown to become the largest business segment of Textron, projected to generate 38% of the company's 1998 revenues. The segment has been highly acquisitive since 1994, making 15 acquisitions in North America, South America and Europe. "The Industrial Products Segment has significant growth potential," said Textron Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Herb Henkel. "With Frank's proven leadership effectiveness, industry experience and strong strategic business development skills (including mergers and acquisitions), we look forward to the continued growth of this segment." 1998 – President of Outdoor Leisure Division of Sunbeam Corp. (NYSE: SOC), including The Coleman Co. and Grillmaster products.
1996 – President and Sector Executive of Kohler Company worldwide plumbing business, responsible for the $1.7 billion international operations in Central Europe, China, Australia, Spain, Morocco, South America and Japan, while maintaining his responsibilities at Sterling Plumbing.
1994 – President and Chief Executive Officer Power Tools Group of Danaher Corporation, a NYSE-listed manufacturer of durable goods and industrial hardware for the Do-It-Yourself, Automotive and Hardware/Home Center markets.
1991 – President and Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Plumbing Group of Kohler Company, a world-leading supplier of plumbing products.
1985 – Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Skil Corporation subsidiary of Emerson Electric Company sold to Robert Bosch in mid-1990's.
1983 – Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Browning Manufacturing Division of Emerson Electric Company.
