2002-2011 - Dymas Capital Management (a Cerberus company), Chicago, IL. Co-Founder and Managing Director. Partnered with Cerberus Capital Management to start a Middle Market lending Group in Chicago targeting Private Equity Clients funding Acquisitions. As one of three partners, built a 16- member team and a portfolio of $1.5B AUM. My responsibilities included originations, portfolio management and restructuring and workouts as well as Credit Committee participation. Started Chicago office from concept to fully functional profitable business unit and operated for almost 10 years. Recognized as Middle Market Lender of the Year during our Tenure as Dymas Capital. 1984-2002 - Heller Financial/ GE, Chicago, IL. (Acquired by GE Capital in 2001). Formative finance career: Began as an analyst in the Workout and Restructuring Group with progressive movements to audit, portfolio management, originations and ultimately co-manager of a business group responsible for Midwest and West coast lending to Middle Market Private Equity Groups. Highly experience in sourcing, structuring, syndication, and workout (exit) of Middle market loans and Junior securities.
